Hi! I am Jinyu Xu (徐进宇), an undergraduate student at the School of Cyber Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). My research interests include Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, AI for Sciences and LLM Security.

I am currently conducting research advised by Prof. Hao Lu, focusing on visual dense prediction problems, a broad range of tasks that deal with per-pixel labeling such as dense object counting and fine-grained visual plant phenotyping. I am particularly interested in developing simple yet effective solutions to problems in reality from deep, novel insights.

I am actively seeking Ph.D. opportunities (starting Fall 2027) and open to research internships. Please feel free to reach out via jinyu_xu@hust.edu.cn for any discussion or collaboration.
